Just like the school year, our program year at First Parish will be delayed as our leadership comes back together after the summer and determines our path forward.
In the month of September, in order to enter First Parish, you must not have any COVID symptoms and you must wear a mask. Our building is currently locked – you may see us in person by making an appointment or you are welcome to try the doorbell (if someone is in the office we will answer the door). We will not be holding worship in our sanctuary during September and small groups will not be meeting in the building. As part of our commitment to the community, AA will resume in-person meetings in our Fellowship Hall in late August. They will be required to wear masks, follow social distancing protocol, and wipe down chairs and surfaces after their meetings. We will also be providing space three days a week to 317 Main for group lessons as their building cannot accommodate social distancing. They will have a variety of groups meeting in the Fellowship Hall – all required to wear masks and social distance – and they will also wipe down chairs and surfaces. This agreement is in place for their first session which runs from Sept. 1 thru Dec. 5.
We are working to determine a safe path for reopening and will be sharing additional updates on our website and in this newsletter as changes are made.
Thank you & stay safe.
