Stewardship Update
Thanks to everyone for supporting the 2019-2020 Stewardship campaign.  We have received 107 pledges and are at 80% of our pledge goal.  If you are still planning on pledging please submit a pledge card or pledge online (https://tinyurl.com/yylwg2y8) by May 18. We would like to finalize the 2019-2020 church budget well ahead of the annual meeting on June 16 so that it can be reviewed by the congregation. 

Sunday, May 12 – Blanket Sunday is a Special Offering that will be taken on Sunday, May 12. Our donations to Church World Service will provide our neighbors that are experiencing poverty, displacement or disaster with a warm blanket to comfort them in their time of need.

The Flower committee will be accepting orders for Memorial flowers after worship on Sunday, May, 12 and 19 in Fellowship Hall.

No Strings Attached Coffee will be held on Friday, May 17 at 10:00 am in the Fellowship Hall and is open to all women at First Parish.

Sunday, May 19 – Senior Recognition Sunday at 10 am.

Sunday, May 19 – 2:30 pm at First Parish when we officially recognize Kate’s transition into the Senior Pastor position.

Sunday, June 2 – Adult Mission Trip Service at 10 am.

Sunday, June 9 – All Church Book Discussion at 11:30 am – We will be discussing the book, A Piece of the World by Christina Baker Kline.

Coffee Hour -There is a new signup sheet on the bulletin board.  We have openings for May 12 and 19.  You may bring your own snacks or check the bottom shelf of the freezer to use what we have.  We supply the frozen lemonade and the half and half for coffee.  You would come in one hour before church to set up and clean things up after coffee hour.  If you have never been a Coffee Hour volunteer, we will mentor you on your first Sunday.  Thank you for your consideration.
