This year’s reader focuses on using creativity to build our relationship with the divine, using the Psalms as a starting point. We hope this year’s Lenten reader inspires you to creatively approach God and deepen your relationship with the Divine.

Red Cross Blood Drive
Our church is sponsoring a Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, April 25, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm in Fellowship Hall.  As usual, the need is great and we have a reputation with the Red Cross for very successful drives, but you are needed to maintain that reputation.  Giving blood is a pretty easy thing to do, usually taking less than an hour out of a busy day.  There are opportunities to give whole blood and Power Reds (where the red cells are extracted from your blood, and the balance returned to your body).
RapidPass can streamline your donation experience and save up to 15 minutes by going to and completing your pre-donation reading and health history questions on the day of your appointment. You can schedule your appointment on-line at using the sponsor code “FPCC” or at the church bulletin board.  Call or email Peter Haynes if you have questions: 207 (846-4561) or [email protected].
Thanks in advance for considering a blood donation – it’s an easy way to help save lives.  Peter

Coffee Hour -There is a new signup sheet on the bulletin board.  There are openings in  May.  You may bring your own snacks or check the bottom shelf of the freezer to use what we have.  We supply the frozen lemonade and the half and half for coffee.  You would come in one hour before church to set up and clean things up after coffee hour.  If you have never been a Coffee Hour volunteer, we will mentor you on your first Sunday.  Thank you for your consideration.
