Board of Deacons
Deacons are responsible for the spiritual life and program of the Church as well as concern for increasing the Church's active membership. Some of the duties include preparing the sanctuary
for worship and memorial services, weddings, and special services. They serve communion, welcome new members, assist in baptisms, staff the fellowship coffee hour after Sunday services, record
Sunday services, obtain ushers and greeters for church worship services, and, in conjunction with the Senior Pastor, administer the Deacons Fund to help with financial need on an emergency basis.

Trustees
The Board of Trustees is responsible for the care and custody of the church's facilities, grounds, and financial affairs. Working in conjunction with the Stewardship Committee, they prepare
the annual budget for approval at the Annual Meeting in June. They work with the Personnel Committee in regard to salary and benefit changes. Decisions regarding maintenance and building
renovation projects are also generated by the Board of Trustees.

Stewardship
The Stewardship Committee is charged with defining the opportunities to give and to share with the church, its members, and the greater community. Their mission is to develop a means
to raise money, which includes planning and developing the annual pledge campaign, and identify resources for the operation and activities of the church.

World Service
The World Service Committee surveys the Missionary needs of the Church, and plans and leads a program of Missions. It is also the duty of the committee to seek to provide a program of
missionary and social action education for the Church and Church School, in cooperation with the Christian Education Committee and Superintendent of the Church School.

Christian Education
The Christian Education Committee, in conjunction with the Pastors, supervises and directs the educational work of First Parish Church. The Committee plays an active role in planning annual
events such as the Confirmation Breakfast, Senior Recognition, Ice Cream Social, Advent Wreath-making, and Christmas Pageant. The committee staffs, trains teachers, and maintains the Church School,
provides nursery care for young children during Sunday worship services, provides adult education classes, provides activities for young people through Junior and Senior Pilgrim Fellowship youth
groups.

Music
The Music Committee oversees the church music programs ensuring that they are inspiring, educational, enjoyable, and of high quality. Musical venues include the Senior Choir - adults
S, A, T, B; Junior Choir - children from grades 3 - 8; Rose Choir - a treble choir for young women grades 7 - 12; and the Handbell Choirs made up of adults and children of all
ages. At special times during the year, we put together an orchestra with all ages, all instruments.

Flower
The Flower Committee is responsible for adding the joyous color and scent of flowers to the sanctuary each Sunday of the year with special flower treatment for the Christmas and Holy Week services. In
addition, the Committee maintains the church sanctuary linens, supplies appropriate seasonal plants in the outdoor urns, assist with flowers for special events, and unofficially organize the
garden cleanups during the year.
